USGA rules pertain, except as follows
Play your ball as it lies in the ruff. Roll or clean and place within one club diameter in the fairway. Follow standard rules of golf for relief from casual water, cart path, man-made objects, balls lost in hazard, etc. If you find your ball out of bounds, treat it as lateral hazard and drop in bounds, with a one stroke penalty – that is, no replays from the tee. When hitting a provisional ball or taking a drop, notify your opponents and get their approval. You may ground your club in a hazard, but not a sand trap. One breakfast ball each day. It can be used on any tee-shot except par 3's. No more than 3 minutes to look for a lost ball. Max score on any hole is triple bogey, regardless of your handicap
► Two-man best ball net
Dot scorecards based on full handicap.
For each player mark down the gross and net score.
Circle the low net for the two man team.
At the end of the round, sum each player’s gross score and the team’s net score and submit to the scorer.
► Four man best (2) ball
Dot the score card based on each player's handicap.
For each player mark down the gross and net score on each hole.
Circle the two low net scores for the foursome on each hole.
At the end of the round, sum the two low nets for each hole for the team net score.
Also submit each player’s gross score to the scorer.
► Ginormous competition
This is a simple game wherein each player has a uniquely labeled and numbered ball. The goal is not to lose the ball. Each player records the hole on which he lost his ball. The pot of money is split among all of the players who keep their ball for the entire 18 holes. If less than 4 players keep their ball the entire 18, those who lost their ball on 18 are included. If still less than 4, those who lost it on 17 are included. A minimum of 4 players participate in the winnings.
Thus, if only one player keeps his ball for 18 holes, 2 players lose it on 18, and 3 lose it on 17, then all 6 will split the pot, since we had to go back to 17 to get the fourth man.
Although the name of the ball may change from year to year, the game is always called the "Ginormous" competition in remembrance of the name of the ball used the first time this game was included in a DAA event (2008).
► Last man standing
Last man standing is a competition amongst a 4-some playing the Winners game. Simply add up the number of winners per man and the winner gets the pot. If there are ties, the money is split. This is meant to spice up the completion amongst members of the 4-some.
